The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will begin selling 2022 bonus turkey harvest permits on Monday, March 21, with a designated sale date for each zone.

Previously known as Remaining Permits, Bonus Harvest Permits are available for purchase through the DNR’s online licensing portal at GoWild.Wi.Gov or from any licensing agent. Sales begin at 10 a.m. and end at midnight each day.

Hunters who wish to obtain additional harvest authorizations or who missed the spring turkey draw deadline last December can purchase bonus authorizations starting March 21.

Hunters are encouraged to consult the Turkey Area Map and Spring Turkey Bonus Harvest Permit Availability to see if Harvest Permits are available for the time period and turkey area they wish to hunt.

Bonus harvest permits are $10 for residents and $15 for non-residents. Residents and non-residents will have the same purchasing opportunities. Hunters can purchase bonus permits at the rate of one per day until the zone and period are exhausted or until the season closes. Purchases of Bonus Harvest Authorizations will not affect preference point status for future spring draws.
