Registration for the March Food $en$e program – open to anyone, regardless of income – will take place in Rome, Lee Town, Camden, Holland Patent and Oneida.

All sites will follow CDC guidelines, requiring masks and social distancing.

Food $en$e is a discounted food program offered by the Central New York Food Bank. Everyone is welcome to participate. There are no income guidelines. The unit cost of $20.50 is payable at the time of registration in cash or food stamps. Multiple units can be purchased.

There are also extras that can be purchased with or without the base unit. Registrations are scheduled for:

• People participating in the Town of Lee program can place orders on Friday, February 25, from 1 to 3 p.m.; and Saturday, March 5, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Delta Lake Fire Department, 8508 Elmer Hill Road.

Orders can be picked up on Friday, March 25 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, call 315-336-0742 or 315-358-4150.

• Registration in Rome will take place at Redeemer Church, 129 N. Washington St., across from City Hall, on February 25, between 1 and 3 p.m. Parking on the grounds of Town Hall will be available.

• Those in the Camden area who wish to participate should contact Stephenie at 315-795-9378.

• The Holland Patent Program is run by the Foothills Rural Community Ministry, Presbyterian Church (across from the park, just off Route 365).

Registration is Friday, February 25, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. or Saturday, February 26, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Food can be picked up between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Friday, March 25 or 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Saturday. , March 26. (Frozen foods will be kept in the freezer for Saturday pick up).

March Package includes Chicken Drumsticks, Salisbury Steaks, Turkey Slices, Ham Steaks, Fresh Eggs, Pasta Salad Mix, Frozen Carrots, Mixed Vegetables, Mashed Potatoes , tangerines and two fresh products.

March specials

The promotions, which can be purchased in addition to the package or separately, are:

Spiral hams, 9 lbs. (medium) for $18.25

Italian meatballs, 5 lbs. for $14.50: fully cooked, in a five-pound bag

Whiting fillets, 2 lbs. for $5.50: wild caught and individually frozen

Julienne fries, 4.5 lbs. for $5: ready to cook in the oven or in the fryer

American cheese, 5 pounds. for $11: sliced, not individually wrapped

Protein box for $14.75, includes: pulled pork (1 lb), chicken portions (1 lb), breaded fish sticks (1 lb), ground turkey (1 lb) and bologna (1 lb)
