Manchester City end Chelsea’s unbeaten start to season

Manchester City beat Chelsea 1-0 at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Defending Premier League champions Manchester City put on an impressive display from the start. Chelsea’s Thiago Silva replaced Reece James, who was injured in the 29th minute.

Cityzens’ efforts paid off when Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus scored in the 53rd minute.

This marks Manchester City‘s first win over Chelsea in their last four games against each other and ends Chelsea’s unbeaten start to the season.

Man United lose to Aston Villa with late goal

Manchester United lost 1-0 to Aston Villa at Old Trafford on Saturday. Both teams missed opportunities early in the game.

United were unlucky as Luke Shaw was forced to stop due to injury just before half-time and Harry Maguire in the second half of the game.

Aston Villa’s Kortney Hause header gave his side a late lead and Manchester United couldn’t score until the end of the game.

Manchester United fell to fourth in the Premier League with 13 points after their first loss this season.

In week 6, Chelsea are in third place with 13 points, while Manchester City are second with a goal difference in the table which is led by Liverpool with 14 points and one game on the schedule.
