With the Omicron outbreak in November 2021, the Center compiled a list of countries identifying them as “at risk”. The list has been updated periodically by reviewing the pandemic situation of these countries. Passengers from these countries were supposed to give their samples after arrival and wait for the result to exit the airport. Since the list is now deleted, these tests will no longer be necessary either. Random sampling of 2% of international travelers from all countries will continue. But travelers won’t have to wait for the outcome; they will be allowed to leave the airport.
