The Kurdistan Democratic Party had mobilized its forces ten days ago at the borders of the province of Shengal.

The Yazidis believe that this step is nothing more than a continuation of the plan of the Hewler and Baghdad governments which were agreed on October 9 of the year 2020, in addition to serving the interests of Turkey and pushing through his ambitious plans to occupy Shengal and exterminate the Yazidi community.

In a statement issued by the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Shengal Province, she expressed her total refusal to enter PDK forces into her land, and large numbers of people took to the streets in mass protests, blocking the road in the face of these forces.

The administrator of the Diplomatic Relations Committee for the Yazidi Union in the Afrin region, Mustafa Nabo, explained that Turkey failed to humiliate the Yazidi community via ISIS / Daesh in August 2014, in which Turkey is again seeking by the PDK and its military forces under the pretext this time in parliamentary elections.

After the recovery of the Yazidi community from 73 Firman, the start of its restructuring and the reconstruction of its institutions, the PDK quickly signed agreements to the detriment of Yazidi society; “as a betrayal between the governments of Hewler and Baghdad aimed at demolishing Yazidi society and consolidating Turkey’s occupation plans.”

For her part, Afrin Yazidi Union member Medya Gawish asked, “Where were the Iraqi army and Democratic Party forces when ISIS mercenaries began to exterminate Yazidis in Shengal?” , they killed thousands and sold Yazidi women in slave markets, and all this before their eyes. After they withdrew from it and left the Yazidis alone in the face of the ISIS confrontation “.

In turn, the Yazidi woman, Maryam Jando, deplored what the Democratic Party of Kurdistan and the government of Baghdad were doing, “which is better to seek and reveal the fate of more than 3,000 Yazidi women, whose fate is still unknown.

At the end of her speech, Maryam Jando said: “If the Kurdistan Democratic Party is sincere in its demands to restore security and stability in Shengal, as well as the government in Baghdad, why have they remained silent in the face of the crimes? of Turkey and its continued bombardment of Shengal with no respect for Iraq’s sovereignty or its government? “

The Yazidis of Afrin expressed their solidarity with the Yazidi community of Shengal in the face of the plots hatched against them, and stressed their refusal to reoccupy Shengal under any pretext.
